1. Personal information is kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Only a few members of the research team will have participants' personal details. This is only to send the Chlamydia sample and incentive.
Only in cases where someone is under 16 and we suspect they are beign harmed or are in danger of being harmed will we consider informing child protection services. In this case we would first urge the person to do so themselves.
2. We do not sell any personal information to other companies or third parties.
3. We do not use your name, address, email address or phone number to deliver Internet ads or unsolicited mail.
4. We will always have a clear mechanism for you to remove yourself from future mailings.
